Much has been said about Jacob Zuma. Many feel they could not bare to see him in power, as inevitable as it may seem and many love and follow him without question.
Either way, it is important to note that, as it was with Mandela and Mbeki, South Africa’s new democracy does not give the president enough power to corrupt or destroy an entire nation. There will not be any Mugabe fiasco in our great country; it has seen enough persecution and violence for many years. Also, the global leaders look to Africa and depend on South Africa to draw those countries which are at the very bottom, out of their depression. South Africa is too important for political unrest to occur. What do you think?
